What is House of MOBO?
House of MOBO is a bold new cultural venue in South London, inspired by the legacy of the MOBO organisation. Founded by Kanya King CBE, it’s a community-driven space where creativity, connection, and culture come together. More than a venue, it’s a home for live music, creative workshops, exhibitions, and conversations that celebrate diversity and imagination.
Is House of MOBO part of the MOBO Awards?
House of MOBO is part of the wider MOBO legacy. As the MOBO Organisation celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026, the House of MOBO continues that mission, creating a year-round space where emerging voices and established talent unite to inspire the next generation.
Where is House of MOBO located?
What are your opening hours?
We’re open from 11am to 12am, Monday to Thursday, 11am to 1am Friday and Saturday, and 11am to 12am on Sundays. Follow our social channels for updates, extended hours, and special event openings.
How can I book a table?

Do you host live events and performances?

Is there an entry fee?
Entry to the venue is free unless otherwise stated for specific ticketed events. Any ticketed events will be listed on our Events page with details and pricing.
Do you serve food and drinks?
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, House of MOBO is wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific accessibility requirements, please email team@houseofmobo.com or call <venue phone number> in advance and our team will be happy to assist.
Is there parking available?
There is limited on-street parking available near the venue. We encourage visitors to use public transport where possible, as we’re just a short walk from West Norwood and Gipsy Hill stations.

Do you allow children?
Children are welcome in the venue, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
Are animals allowed in the venue?
Pets are not permitted inside the venue, with the exception of registered guide dogs or assistance animals, who are of course welcome.
